ABOUT RVA AUTONOMOUS

The physical operating layer behind autonomous mobility.

Autonomy changes who drives the vehicle. It does not eliminate the need to charge, clean, inspect, recover, reposition, stage and service the fleet. RVA Autonomous Mobility LLC is developing those local operating capabilities for Richmond and Central Virginia while preparing for future commercial autonomous passenger operations where authorized.

CAPABILITIES

Five parts of the operating stack.

02

Autonomous Fleet Operations

Vehicle staging, charging, inspection, cleaning, fleet readiness, uptime management, incident documentation and maintenance coordination.

03

Third-Party Fleet Management

Future local management of eligible autonomous vehicles owned by outside fleet owners or capital partners, including custody, readiness, charging, maintenance coordination, reporting and mobility-hub support.

04

EV & Charging Infrastructure

Identifying and developing charging and staging capacity designed for high-utilization electric mobility fleets.

05

Mobility Hubs

Evaluating facilities where autonomous vehicles can charge, stage, receive service, be cleaned and inspected, and return efficiently to operation.

DEPLOYMENT

A capital-disciplined path to regional scale.

The roadmap begins with services that can potentially be provided without owning autonomous vehicles. Vehicle acquisition and passenger operations remain gated by commercial terms, network eligibility, insurance and Virginia authorization.

STAGE 0

Turnaround & Ground Operations

Build local vendor, site and operating capability; pursue B2B fleet-readiness work where contractually permitted, insured and lawful.

STAGE 1

Third-Party Fleet Management

Manage eligible partner-owned vehicles and validate real-world utilization, uptime and operating costs.

STAGE 2

Owned Autonomous Fleet

Add RVA-owned vehicles only after commercial purchase/network economics and Virginia operating authority are confirmed.

STAGE 3

Mobility Hub / Regional Scale

Combine fleet density with dedicated charging, staging, cleaning, inspection and technical support across Central Virginia.

MARKET
